The Cipher Events

The Cipher is designed for existing, new, emerging or established local artists to amplify access, ideas, strategies, templates and resources, while at the same time increasing artistic development and  performance opportunities within LittleJamaica and abroad.  Using our grassroots holistic approach, our Mentors will engage, develop and support our youth virtually, enhancing their creativity, innovation and ingenuity.  Our youth will benefit through education sessions to increase their business, branding, marketing, money management and performance capabilities.    

All I Need is One Mic

Our workshop/mentorship series focuses on composing and delivering bars for live recordings and live shows. Our mentors will deep-dive into the art of penmanship and creating visuals with words.

JD Flip Another Beat 4 Me

Our workshop/mentorship series focuses on various production styles/equipment, home studio set-up, in studio preparation.  

Behind the Turntable

Our workshop/mentorship series will focus on the creativity, innovation and ingenuity of the Deejay as it relates to live and listening audiences locally, domestically and internationally.

Dapper Dan

Our workshop/mentorship series will focus on the art of branding, including web design, graphics, merchandise and social media presence.

I Get the Job Done

Our workshop/mentorship series will focus on employment strategies and templates including job searching, interview skills and resume building to ensure sustainable employment.

Million While You Young

Our workshop/mentorship series will focus on the fundamentals of money and the effects financial discipline has on budgeting, debt, savings, credit and investment.

Stressed Out

Our workshop/mentorship series will focus on mindfulness, well-being with resources and supports to deal with various issues including stress, anxiety, depression and trauma.
